It usually helps to put the sport and/or position the player you’re bragging about plays.

Dude this is a stretch. As far as I know he hasn’t even been mentioned on our recruiting board
ETA: After searching, we had one thread about him where it was just asking if LSU was going after him and the conclusion was that we really weren’t. Still a stretch

Kobe Brown fits Mizzou pretty well compared to all his other offers. 4th best fit, a hair below K-State.
Brown's Top 5 Best Fit schools were:
1. VA Tech
2. Minnesota
3. Kansas State
4. Missouri
5. Alabama
Yes, these accounted for the coaching changes made at Virginia Tech and Alabama.

I mean he had an offer. He probably just immediately told you guys no, and that's why it was never mentioned. Recruiting sites don't give bad news like that unless they have to they are only trying to suck their subscribers dicks

He decommitted from Texas A&M(basketball) and he's only a 3*. He use to be a 4*.

Just because we didn't make threads on him doesn't mean we weren't recruiting him, if we offered him(which we did), it probably means we were trying to recruit him here.

I see 4 stars.
I honestly trust the people that work at espn more than the people who tried to but failed.

its better than glorified fan sites. most recruiting sites WERE fan sites until yahoo and 247 brought them in to the fold.

sadly its not. those fan sites have 5 times the staff that espns recruiting "team" does. ESPN typically only does 2 evaluations a year, one at the beginning and one at the end of a season. they are the rankings that get shown on TV though so congrats on the "4 star"

Not even remotely close and clearly have no clue what you're talking about.

he adds depth to a spot we lack in, SF. Hes not anything to brag about, but could be a good 4 year player. beat writers have said he is an old school point-forward, which is exciting. But he wont even be the frosh starter at that spot.

Recruiting sites make everyone by default a 3 star. There were fake recruits who received 3 stars from 247, sight unseen.
Kobe Brown fits Cuonzo Martin pretty well, it's a good pickup.
Lots of guys get highly rated and then turn out to be busts, but what if they were just attending the wrong school. There are plenty of guys who are not highly rated and they do very well because they are attending the right school.
Rating kids like they are insurance companies or bonds is silly. How can a particular PG be better objectively than a particular Center? It makes no sense.

recruiting sites also pay more attention to kids that pay them money for shitty camps with 500 people where they get no real useful attention

He wasn’t being actively recruited by any of the schools he listed outside of Missouri

Didnt realize LSU was recruiting him. Not even sure who he is or what sport he plays.
