Recruiting sites make everyone by default a 3 star. There were fake recruits who received 3 stars from 247, sight unseen.

Kobe Brown fits Cuonzo Martin pretty well, it's a good pickup.

Lots of guys get highly rated and then turn out to be busts, but what if they were just attending the wrong school. There are plenty of guys who are not highly rated and they do very well because they are attending the right school.

Rating kids like they are insurance companies or bonds is silly. How can a particular PG be better objectively than a particular Center? It makes no sense.
How do you know if he's recruiting well though? It's about finding guys who fit his style of play, not who is hyped.

Want to win a National Championship or a Signing Class? Making the media happy is far less fun than winning Championships.
Tennessee-Alabama is not a rivalry in Football anymore, it is an ordinary matchup in any other sport and it caught up to Football too.

For a rivalry to be a real rivalry, it has to be an across-the-board thing. It has to go beyond one sport.

Tennessee-Alabama, LSU-Alabama, Florida-Kentucky, LSU-Ole Miss really aren't rivalries.

Ole Miss-Miss State, Auburn-Georgia, Auburn-Alabama, Tennessee-Kentucky have that no matter what the sport, there's a crowd to be there for it element.
His best fit from that list is Indiana, but he would be better off at Kentucky. Georgetown has no scholarships left to give and they are his best fit among his offers. UK is his 2nd best fit and they have scholarships to give.

When is this awkward page going to be removed from the A&M Official site?

Kobe Brown fits Mizzou pretty well compared to all his other offers. 4th best fit, a hair below K-State.

Brown's Top 5 Best Fit schools were:

1. VA Tech
2. Minnesota
3. Kansas State
4. Missouri
5. Alabama

Yes, these accounted for the coaching changes made at Virginia Tech and Alabama.
