I don't think we'll be able to get enough points for top 5. But 6 is definitely in play with rats fleeing the sinking t.u. ship.
It depends on who and what else happens around us. Regardless, if we finish with guys like previously mentioned plus Manning/George & Crawford then it is a fantastic class whether it is ranked 4th or 8th.

Just heard an interview with Achane.
Lsu is still getting a visit, but it got pushed to 11/29. They're recruiting him at slot and special teams.
A&M is still setting up the official. it will probably by 11/16. We're recruiting him as a RB who will also catch a lot of passes.
Both schools are also recruiting him for track.

Crazy stuff: Aggies are now #6 nationally (suck it, sips), #4 in SEC and #3 in the SEC West. Holy moly.

He’s a good RB. Wish we had more room. His highlight film is sick

He reminds me a a running back version of Waddle. He’s going to end up a nice asset for Pat Henry too.

4 star JUCO CB Brian George. We're prolly getting a JUCO CB again this year. I'm worried that means we're not confident in Erick Young, but it is what it is.

Last night's rushing stats are in for Devon Achane but can't find the full box score for receiving and punt/kick return to add.
Against an undefeated A&M Consolidated last night, he reeled off 24 carries for 228yds and 3 TDs bring his career totals to this:
KICKOFF/PUNTS
11 KO returns, 40.2yd avg with 3 TDs
6 Punt returns, 32.2yd avg with 2 TDs
RUSHING
340 carries for 4179yds, 12.5yd avg with 76TDs
RECEIVING
76 receptions for 1715, 22.6yd avg with 20TDs
PASSING
3 attempts, 3 complete for 76yds, 25.3yd avg with 1TD
TOTAL
436 touches, 101TDs -- A TD FOR EVERY 4.32 TOUCHES FOR HIS CAREER

Right now it looks like we will have the following cornerbacks and nickelbacks returning:
SR Myles Jones
SR Debone Renfro
SR Elijah Blades
SR Clifford Chattman
JR Devin Morris
FR Erick Young
That's it

Is he still a take for Lsu?
Doubtful, it's Evans or bust for LSU

You could always steal Robinson from t.u.

Nah, we already have our RB commit for 2020.
I could see Bijan telling Tommy no thanks and ending up at OSU with Ransom

Here is a fun stat:
In last Friday’s wild playoff win, Achane went for 228 yards on 24 carries (9.5 yds per carry) and had 2 receptions for 49 yards (24.5 yds per catch)...and those numbers actually lowered his season averages. Wild.

Big time get for Jimbo over some potential playoff teams. Jimbo putting in work on the recruiting trail.
