4* QB Drew Lock (Lees Summit MO) set to announce 4/9

Offers include Mizzou, Ole Miss, UT, UK, tOSU, Michigan State and Louisville among others.
Mizzou also offered in basketball, though I'd guess it'll be football. Don't think he's even rated in basketball. At least I couldn't find a basketball page for him. Crystal balls say Mizzou for whatever that's worth.
UT fans...you hearing anything? I know Butch sat down with him a time or two.

Haven't heard much about him and Tennessee in awhile. Mizzou lock from everything I've seen.

We only care when we get a 4* or 5*, otherwise only star gazers care about the stars!

I think it's GP that says he doesn't look at them. I call BS on it though because if you look at all his early offers, they are all 4 and 5*'s for the most part. I'm sure like any staff, his evaluation goes beyond just looking at stars, but don't kid yourself, he wants the same kids everyone else wants. What he's good at, is once he knows he's not going to get those kids, he's pretty damn good at finding the kids that have gone unnoticed by others. With the way he can develop 2 and 3* athletes into All Americans and NFL players, I'd love to see what he can do with 4 and 5* type kids.

Drew is one of those given commits that you see around the country each cycle. Pretty dang good QB that Missouri is going to be getting.

I don't know the guy, some radio guy, so not saying he has any credibility. Just passing it along. UT had put an early push on for him but apparently there hasn't been much discussion or talk of Lock lately in their camp. My guess and hope is UT moved on to other options and Lock chooses Mizzou tonight.
