I dont think he was "always" going to Tennessee, otherwise why would most people be saying LSU right up to about 36-48 hours ago?

Yeah, I worded that wrong. Sorry.

Just gonna say: Boom!

This kid is a fantastic pickup for us. So far Pruitt's recruited some very, very good OLBs and DBs. We have other spots I'd like to see get a little higher rated pickups but he's done great with those two spots in particular.

Thanks. I watched his commit vid and he sounds like a fine young man to boot. It's always nice to see it when those two things come together.

Really good family. He has high upside on the field, but will also be a character guy and a very good student.

Fwiw those qualities are NOT what I’m looking for in my football players

I was impressed with his speech. He sounded more like an adult than a high school kid. It wasn't just that he was well spoken -- it was very thoughtful. Just not your typical football prospect speech.

It worked out well for us when it came to Dobbs, Sutton, and JRM. And when physical talent is relatively or almost equal, smarts will win every time.

I apologize to Sand Mtn...I know he prefers all future Vols to be GOONS with bad attitude.

But in all seriousness, he and his brother are very, very impressive guys. Hell of a family

Sand can be choosy about that.

no worries there. BJO a helluva player. Just watch big brother Azeez who is about to explode onto the scene at UGA this fall at the same position.

if you guys land #3 Marietta Blue Devil in 5* TE Arik Gilbert (Top 10 overall player in country) to go w/ BJO and QB Harrison Bailey - that is gonna give you guys a good foothold in ATL area again as well and the needed momentum the UT program has lacked in recent years in recruiting the Atlanta area.

Depending on how UGA finishes up their class, they may try and flip him but I don't see BJO as a flipper - he is very likely to hold his commitment as he is not a wishy-washy kind of guy.

Congrats. He's a nice prospect. Hopefully, we can get Webb.

It's going to take a lot more than one high school to do that.

Now, if they can get the shady mfer who runs I Dare You recruiting to start funneling kids to UT. That would be scary.

UGA should try to showcase the TE a lot against Vandy - especially in cleanup time with the backups in. I big safety valve would be great to have when Fromm leaves, and showcasing the possibilities could go a long way to inking with Gilbert/Washington.

Jake Fromm has a strange aversion to throwing to the middle of the field. Not sure if because of his height he just doesn't see it as well or what. Hopefully he improves in this area this year and that will mean more Tight End throws.
