Heard UGA has now focused on this guy after a Raym went to OU. Not a bad backup plan.

Who knew OU fans were so insecure?

Don't know if there will be a live video or not. I assume this is down to UGA and LSU.

Expect a twitter announcement. He has a teammate doing a tv decision earlier in the evening.

eye roll

Emery had local commitments. Most Dawgs understood and didn't fault him.

What I heard, back when the flip happened, was that he Emery became a family man... if you know what I mean.

That changes things.

I have no idea if that was proven to be true... 9 months later... but I wish him all the luck in the world.

I hope he runs all over Bama, but takes it easy on us in the SECchampionships.

Assuming UGA, the favorite, grabs SVP tonight to complete the Offensive Line haul for 2020, we would have the following (as ranked by 247):

5* OT Broderick Jones(#2 OT/#20 overall)
4* OT Tate Ratledge (#3 OT/#37 overall)
4* C Sedrick Van Pran (#3 C/#101 overall)
4* OT Chad Lindberg (#15 OT / #137 overall)-projects as OG
4* OT Joshua Braun (#21 OT/#270 overall) - projects as OG - Braun is likely to re-rank higher, his tape is really good, Pittman loves him and his two brothers have had success at college level so he has pedigree as well.

It's been UGA for months. I wish we could have turned him, but it seems like he has been dead set on going out of state for a while.

Yes, understood and I know you guys could use him. I am sure LSU won't give up on flipping him but have a good feeling about UGA holding this commitment (but it ain't over - yes, we all know about Emery). Sam Pittman is next level great as a recruiter and OL coach. Also, a lot of his family in the ATL area or moving there - I know mom still in LA.

If the OL is improved this season, we can get back to locking these guys up.

Very unusual for Louisiana kids. It's almost impossible to get a kid LSU really wants. We were really fortunate with this one. (IF we get him) I keep remembering Ojulari and one or two other kids that teams have felt good about that ended up somewhere else.

If UGA has been solid anywhere for a while, it's the OL. Plus, Athens is a cool college town.

I’d argue it’s RB, but we’ve been solid on the OL since 2017.

No doubt there is a lot of things that draw a kid to Georgia. I guess I am just surprised when it happens with a Louisiana kid. I was born in baton Rouge, and it's almost eerie how kids are brought up loving LSU. It's a strong pull.

It would be bizarre if people who live in baton rouge didnt raise their kids to love LSU.
