Seems like a real solid Juco prospect. Not the end of the world, Juco kids usually take a year to get into the groove of things and UGA has plenty of talent in the secondary.
I still maintain this stance. It's rare for a Juco kid to come and make an instant impact at UGA.
Wims is a perfect example, as it took him a whole year to get acclimated and he played at an all SEC level his last year.
Hopefully this kid is ready day 1 cause it'll be scary without Baker back there.

Timeline makes it seem like he got the class or score he needed to guarantee December enrollment.
From piecing info together it sounds like UGA wouldn't have held a spot for him if he wasn't assured to be an early enrollee. Seems that he got the news he needed and locked in his spot at UGA.
I think coaches view him as a great talent with only two years to play, so the early enrollment gives the best odds of him becoming a contributor during a shortened eligibility window.

This makes a ton of sense... are you sure you're in the right place?

There are some UGA posts in this thread that are funny to read now.

There are always posts that don't age well... from every fan base. It's just what recruiting does. Floyd looks like a buffoon, but he did when he posted originally too... nothing really changed there.
Hell... DJ's comments from Scrooster's post now ring pretty hollow as well:

If you want to see sad SC posts, find the other DB thread... for the DB that we were "in the mix" for, even though before he committed literally every UGA fan said he wasn't picking us because he didn't have a committable spot at UGA yet... Cam Smith. Guy may end up being a hell of a ball player, but that was a downright hilarious thread on the heels of the DJ commitment happening prior.
