It does. I just find it odd that we defend ou own while making fun of others for the same stuff. If we think other fan bases are delusional, then we need to also understand that our own is just as delusional. All in all we are all the same, but for some reason hate other fan bases for the same things we love about our own.

It could happen. But I wouldn't count on it. Everybody is excited because they are pulling better players than they have in quite a few years (in some cases) truth is this class is deeper than a lot have been in the past. Everybody is getting really good talent.

Nobody (or very few) say it out loud, but it is passively insinuated when we make fun of another teams "melt". (I hate that word! )

I mean, I went to check out your board yesterday and several posters were laughing about the reactions of Georgia fans to the loss of Daniel, forgetting the reactions you all had about Booth, and so many others.


I guess is it gratifying to an extent to see a hated rival go crazy. It just seems odd that people do that when that same hated rival consistently finishes higher in the class rankings than yours.

This isn't an Auburn thing. UGA fans, LSU fans and everybody else does it, too.

There's a more realistic path to a top 5 class then there's ever been for AU. I was MUCH more confident in us pulling it off when I thought we would snag Booth. As of today, I think we finish in the 7-9 range but a top 5 class is not unrealistic for AU especially with Pickens & Nix continuing to climb up the rankings & a guy like Zion Puckett creeping into the top 100. Have to win some battles but for once we are actually in striking range

When you drive to Milledgeville to film a commit announcement(who didn’t end up picking #UGA) and you get a flat tire right as you leave

SC has had great success with JUCO DBs. Have a couple guys on the roster, and then Jamarcus King was a beast.

We may have just gotten beat here. I can understand feeling like we’ve gotten everyone in recent memory but this looks like a little bit of sour grapes by some of our fans.
