Wonder why. I'm sure they have higher targets, but I would think they would want to stay in contact just in case.

He's been dominant at every camp he's gone to.

Not sure AU is even recruiting him. We are down to Booth, Puckett, Sheffield, and Pritchett at DB and lead for three of them with 2 spots open.

I like him a lot. Would rather have him over Cordale Flott (current AU commit). Just don't think AU could take him now if they wanted but we will see. Seems like Vols are in good spot

My take: Georgia looks to take 4 DBs in this cycle. I expect two that they project at corner and two they project at safety. I think they feel very good about pulling 3 players from the board of priority targets (4* Jalen Perry already committed) and therefore aren't really going after Burrell, even though he is clearly a good player.
Edit: also notable that his mom works at UGA, so it would be hard to slow play him

His 247 rating is odd, you look at his offer list and it's loaded. Everywhere he camped, QBs avoided his side of the field like the plague.

Ratings aren't always consistent as we have seen in the past. Deandre Baker was a low rated 3* Army AllAmerican(still scratching my head on that one) and was selected 2017 2nd team ALLSEC, 2018 preseason 1st team ALLSEC.
