According to sixpack in regards to this years recruiting class
"Dan was serious when he said he wanted to get the crystal football at MSU. Might do it sooner than we think"

Good god the delusion.

as super-amazing as this class is(allegedly), it's still set to finish 10th in the SEC.

I hate on Yancy because he's a creepy idiot.

I know a guy who used to work for Scout.com (not the Ole Miss affiliate, but another one for a school in the South) and he said that Yancy is generally regarded as both dumb and really, really strange amongst the Scout crowd.

I'll be the first to admit his evaluation skills are sub-par. But he does have the right contacts to make really good predictions. He's typically spot on with those.

A lot of the hate is they believe everything other state fans say about Yancy. One state fan will twist yancy's words and then everyone else will believe what that one poster said.

They're also saying that if Issac Gross wasn't from USP he wouldn't have any BCS offers and would be headed Juco.

Speak on it bundy. What prediction has he gotten wrong? Because the only ones I've seen have been Ward, Liggins, Brice, Conyers, and Wallace.

He said we have a good shot at AJ but state has a leg up because of much longer relationships and said Dawson was more than likely headed to UGA once they started going after him hard. He does still think we have a small chance with both but he has never come out and said either will probably be rebels

Edit: and his Liggins prediction is not exactly a prediction. He says he thinks LSU leads but that as long as he doesn't change the location of his commitment, he will be a rebel

Mississippi state is 16th in scout rankings which puts us 6th in the SEC good try though

This is the problem with the MSU idiots.....they don't even know WHAT Yancy actually predicts. For some reason, they automatically assume Yancy predicts them to Ole Miss if Ole Miss is recruiting them heavily. Then if that player goes somewhere else, they start talking about how Yancy was wrong.

There is also a distinct difference between a prediction and reporting what he knows.

The main reason I would like AJ to flip and for us to get Richie is to watch you lose your shite

He'll just say his offer wasn't committable like they said earlier and that they told him to look around because they needed to make room. Oh yea and the thread title will be changed to say 3* instead of 4*

Yeah because that's not going to change when UGA, UF, etc fill their class. Your class will be better than OM, mizzo, UK, and Vandy with arky probably having a better rivals class and y'all having a better scout class so you can say you will tie for 9th in the SEC. Crystal Ball!!!!!!

You also have 26 commits.

UGA has 17 and Auburn has 15. Both of which have an average star ranking far better than yours. Tennessee has 21 and isn't far behind.

What's really ironic is that they were piling on Nutt for the same nonsense. Recruiting titles!11!rattle

It really is crazy how big star gazers they are now. Bundy has always been constant and loves the stars so you can't call him a hypocrite but state fans start a "where they are currently ranked" thread after every commitment they get. And offers are all made up if the kid isn't a 4 star. It is a complete flip from what theyve been saying for the past coupe years. I have to say some of our fans are doing the same though. Completely looking away from the stars and rankings and concentrating on the offers.

Serious question, not a flame: Why does Mullens and staff discourage kids to not take other visits so much? It comes across as very insecure IMO. That may not be the case, but if I'm a parent of a prospect I would begin to wonder why I'm not supposed to visit somewhere else. It kind of resembles the idea that if you tell someone not to do something without a good reason as to why they shouldn't do it, they'll wind up doing it anyway simply out of curiosity if nothing else. I just wonder what his response is to parents when he tells them not to visit anywhere else, and their response is, "Why not?"

we can sign 28 so having 26 is not "over-signing" and i have never said anything about us winning a national championship or having the best recruiting class just saying we have a good class and will be even better if both Brown boys come.. 2 more 4*'s
