Show me where Woody's stats are better or where he finished in the Elite11 and then tell me why he's better...you can't.

That just isn't possible.
Correct, meant to write 7 of the 9 games were 100+ rushing yard games.

So the Elite 11 is the end-all measuring stick of QBs? Also Woody plays in FL so the competition is much stiffer.

I'm saying that they were the same Elite 11 semifinals, Woody was sent home, and McIlwain won MVP. McIlwain's stats this year and his career ade better. You are letting your blind homerism get the better of your judgment

We'Ll find out when they play. There have been a some shite top E11 players. I'm glad we have Woody

You're acting like the Elite 11 guys know all when they don't. You're also acting like the comeptition level of high schools are the same in South Carolina and Florida are the same which they aren't.
They're ranked pretty similarly so there's probably not that much different.
Personally, I don't know who's better. I'm done putting any weight on what they do at these camps and will wait to see what they do when they get on the field against SEC talent.

They competed on the same field, the same day, with the same conditions and evaluators. McIlwain came out on top.

You're acting like McIlwain plays HS ball in SC, which he doesn't...he's in PA, bruh.

I can understand that.

You're still depending on the Elite 11 guys knowing who's better. They don't. They have a better opinion than us but they still don't know.
Ok. Point is FL >>> most states including PA.
I don't know shite about McIllwain. I'm just saying that the reasons you gave to make McIllwain clearly better are shite.

The bigger thing for me is 6'2" 225 vs 6'0" 200.

My concern with Barrett is his completion percentage.... he's below 50% through nine games his senior year... he's put up very good numbers vs good competition... but it's hard to imagine a guy with these kind of accuracy issues all of a sudden fixing that in college.
We'll see.
We'll see.

One time USC commitment DB Marlon Character of Atlanta is one again seriously considering the program with the arrivals of Will Muschamp and Travaris Robinson from Auburn. Character knows both well because after decommitting from USC in November, he committed to Auburn. That pledge remains for now but Character is going to give Muschamp and Robinson a good opportunity to bring him back to the Gamecocks.
"I talked to T-Rob the day before yesterday about my official there," Character said Wednesday night. He is scheduled to visit USC officially January 30th after visits to Auburn and Virginia Tech. He is down to those three schools. "I have a relationship with both coaches from Auburn and I heard B-Mac (Bryan McClendon) is coming in and I have a great relationship with him. I'll get down on an official and see how things come together, see how they fit and if I fit into it as well. I really just want to see how they are the same as how they were with Auburn. That's all I need to see. I'm making sure everything is in place, no missing pieces."

Character said he will wait until Signing Day before announcing a final decision, and the fact his two former Auburn recruiters now reside at USC appears to be a bonus for the Gamecocks.
"Working out with T-Rob, he's a great coach, got a lot of energy," he said. "I have a great relationship with both of them. I can say I have a stronger relationship with them than any of the others. I talk to T-Rob pretty much every day."

Nice.btw isn't USCe QB commit 5-10? That's too short IMO.

Plot not really thickening. We knew there was a strong possibility we would lose him once boom and Trob went to USC. So not really a huge surprise here.

6 foot
Same height as Drew Brees and taller than Russell Wilson. Do y'all have a QB over 6 ft who is not on PED's?

We don't even know if our new DC will want him or not.
Would not be shocked if he went to USCe even if we did want him though.

Just an FYI ... PA has probably produced more All-American and Hall of Fame QBs than any other five states combined.
PA has, historically, been a QB factory ... far more so than Florida.
