He told ours he didn’t make it. Again, he doesn’t move the needle for me on the 2019 class. If he commits to Oregon, I will be rooting for him. I think he verbals to Miss St.

Our insiders are saying now they think Johnson was being coy about his trip to Miss St. I am 99% he’s going Miss St tomorrow.

Also, I inquired about Montra’s grades. I am curious if they’re that bad. I don’t think we’ve had an academic ineligible PSA in over a decade.

We also backed off recruiting DeShawn Lynch, their favorite DT in Cali. Not sure why we’d chase Montra.

If I were recruiting for Oregon and looking for D-line, I'd check out Louisiana. Same grade risk problems, but more players..and some good talent. LSU is pretty much full and there's good bit left over there. Wish we had room honestly.

They’re looking at Kenean Caldwell from LA and Quay Evans from S Carolina. However, Caldwell is a nose and I am not sure about Quay.

Lol Quay Evans was once the top ranked DT in the country from Morton MS. Never played a down if I remember correctly. I think he's in prison now

Yea welcome to recruiting Mississippi athletes. Grades are always an issue with Mississippi recruits.

Looks like Oregon passed on Montra after our camp. That’s too bad.

It doesn’t matter. He struggled at our camp from what our insiders said.

He'll either become a commodity again in 2 years, or fizzle out. Depends on what he wants. He's got plenty of ability as a DT.

That makes more sense to me. I watch his tape and he is a good run stopper. I personally don’t care that he’s 6’1”. He has tree trunks for legs. He’s not going to show up well in shirts and shorts in pass rush drills.

He’ll end up at Ole miss where they’ll say they beat out State, Oregon and others for him despite the fact that none of those teams are recruiting him anymore due to poor performances and grades. The narrative will be its a great recruiting victory when it’s really not.
