Our mods are saying the Michigans mod told them that Willie can't get into Michigan at the moment. But if Reakwon Davis can qualify anything is possible.

So...he didn't make a scheduled OV to FSU for the Clemson game and he's now slated to OV to LSU.
Just looked up his testing numbers from The Opening and they were really impressive, they're very similar to Browning and Moses testing results although he's not as big as those 2 guys.

State's going to fire their defensive coordinator and some other coaches on that side of the ball will leave town.

He may be playing with the media, who knows. But what Mullen knows is if he lets Willie Gay get away from town, there will a nasty backlash to face. I suspect Gay signs with State.

How much has he played with the media during his recruitment? I know he's always talked up Michigan but I doubt he goes there especially since he probably won't make another visit there.
Fwiw a bunch of analyst are saying he's been talking up LSU to other recruits and a national 247 writer said his mom is pro LSU.

Leo Lewis was a Mississippi kid. If you remember the debacle from last year when Ole Miss bought AJ Brown right out of Mullen's backyard. Then we lost a longtime OL lean from Columbus to Bama late in the process.
Mullen suffered wrath from some of the base over losing those two GTR kids. It turns out, one was his fault, the other was not. I don't expect it to happen with Gay, but if it does, it could get ugly.
