There are many things that are worrisome about CBJ and staff. Talent evaluation and recruiting are not those things.

V&S may believe differently in evaluation if they are only taking higher star players...UT would still recruit at a high level no matter the coach

Your point that Butch doesn't develop talent? His first recruiting class, that he put together in a month and a half, is just now going into their senior year.

Alvin Kamara
Are all guys going into 2016 that have developed and gotten better every year under Butch. All 5 of those guys will be selected in the Draft. I expect that trend to continue going forward and wouldn't be surprised if several of our guys have big years and join the above list.
Butch leaves a lot to be desired in the X's and O's department, but he is an excellent recruiter and strong at developing talent.

After re-reading that first paragraph that's a little confusing on my part, my bad.
I was trying to convey that the notion of him not developing players is crap and a complete over reaction. The first recruiting class that he brought in are just now going into their senior year.
The guys I listed weren't all from the 2013 class, but they will all be selected in the Draft next year and will have played either all or most of their career under Butch.
