We've finished in the top 3 in the SEC West for nearly half the years we've been in the SEC.

When have you finished top 3 in the west with cbb as your coach?

Great news! Hope this will help flipping Pennamon as well!! WPS

Pennamon will be a Hog. He's a good one and exactly what we need, but you can't fault the kid for seeing y'all's offense and seeing ours and thinking that Arkansas is the better fit. Nice package.

That's a non-sequitur and not the argument you originally made. However, Bert DOES leave a lot to be desired. BUT - it's unfair to hold him even partially responsible for the mess he inherited.

All I'm saying is you lack speed and players on the outside to win in the sec. Once you guys are down or barely hanging on a lead it's hard for you to wi. It

To WIN the SEC (at the moment) I might agree with you.
But it's getting there.

To say we can't win IN the SEC is false however, see LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn victories. More are coming.

This is why we will be in a fight just to finish 4th in the west. You can't field teams full of 2/3 star kids and compete with 4/5 star kids. Just look at Berts record. I'm not sure he is good enough to win at Bama

@Statsattack

I figured you meant under Bert, but wasn't sure.

I won't lie, speed on the outside is a concern of mine. I worry that Bielema doesn't appreciate it enough; just as I did when he was hired. It's not that he can't recruit speed, though.

No, we're not built to come from behind quickly, but given time, we can do it. Dominique Reed's a guy who I think could take it the house anytime he touches the ball.

Our big problem in close games has been more about following through, then how we're built, though. At least that's my opinion.

let Herb get em for a year and see how much they improve.

lets please retire this myth.

Herb is a joke. He gets em too big and too slow. With his emphasis on size and strength how the hell do we not have a single kicker that can put the ball in the endzone on kick offs and the kickers have a range that tops out at just over 40 yards.

this might be intentional so we can tackle them before they get 25 yards. seems we consistently kick it to the 1 yard line or right at the goal line like it's on purpose with the intent of not giving the opposing team an automatic 25 yard starting position.

bet we can make longer if we really need to

the 45 yarder hedland kicked last night would have been good from 50+
