He was close to committing to Bama weeks ago. Then A&M got some momentum, using Bama's depth chart. Tennessee, MSU, and LSU all were after him hard. Bama answered the depth chart concerns this weekend and he committed. The #2 OG prospect on Bama's board nationally behind only Justin Rogers.

He also has a teammate and close friend at Olive Branch HS who is also committed to Mississippi State.
Word is its just a matter of time before he commits to State. He only has 1 official visit left to take and it will be to Starkville.

FWIW, Bama’s 24/7 guy said Hill reopening his commitment was a Hill decision not a Bama decision. He was not dropped, the rare legit decommit from Bama.

Truth. Kyle Flood was at his game this past Friday. Doesn't seem like you would go watch the kid if you were dropping him.
