If his interest cooled on us I could see us devoting time elsewhere. I dunno how many safeties were looking to take and we are obviously pushing hard for Brandon Jones and in good shape for Priest Willis

A lot of ppl aren't as high on him as last year. Supposedly he is contact shy, and not very consistent. I for one think he's athletic enough to still be a priority.

Half of this is true, he's contact shy, he might be a great cb, he excels in coverage and would be one of the fastest db's this year in college or high school, hitting is his only knock.

I wish we'd push for him as a corner, but I have no idea what his preference is. We were recruiting Monroe as s corner too. After all the safeties we took last year, were only after Brandon jones really.

What's the story on this kid? Only 660 rushing yards last year, I assume he was splitting carries with someone? 5'11 and 195 isn't terribly small so that's good, will probably bulk up to 210 and keep his speed, kind of in that odd gap between scat back and work horse.

Finally got a chance to watch this kid's HUDL.. I'm almost as excited about him as I am anyone in our class. He's a beast with hands to boot.

This kid could easily be the steal of this year's class. He's an under-the-radar type of guy...kind of slightly unnoticed previously because Manvel is a big time program who have been spitting out division 1-talent left and right last few years... and the fact that he's finally the starting tailback. No doubt though...his highlights on tape are pretty salty. The only knock on him is that he seems to be a little more of a finesse guy than physical but he's the starter now so u might see that side of him come out. I think the 3 kids we like more over him ( Whaley, Stephens, Speights) are more established experienced guys but I wouldn't have minded getting this cat. Good pickup for the rebels.

He split carries with two other backs. He is a complete back. He does it all and is not bad at DB right now he's sitting at 208lbs.
