Do we really need to go down that road?

We got a kid out of your state. You guys beat your chests when Saban does it in LA.
Don't get your panties in a wad, Nancy.

You honestly don't see the difference in landing a Cam Robinson, Landon Collins, Devonta Smith over a 3-star kid who couldn't commit to Alabama if he wanted to?
Yeah he's from our state, and by all accounts a good kid from a great family. But let's not act like this situation is even remotely similar to the ones you are referencing.

It was a civil thread until you showed up.

Stupidity on your part is more like it.

Yep. Just like the Devonta Smith thread. Some of them just can't help being idiots.

Bama is fine as they can cherry pick who they want around the country. But, we are winning our fair share of recruiting battles over the Bammers at the moment....esp on D. Craig and O doing work.

Lsu locks down our state. Didn't we get 8-9'out of states top ten last year with the one or two we didn't get is because we passed ? Coach O effect.

I wouldn't call Thomas and the other DL from Mobile a win over Bama. Neither one could have committed to Bama at this time. If a spot opens up for them, expect a decommitment for LSU.
I would rather they go to LSU then to those jackasses in Auburn.

Maybe Ferrell, but I think Pruitt really liked Thomas. Plus his step dad played at Alabama.

If LSU lands Ryan Johnson, then they could count a recruiting win over Bama for a in state player.

Thomas has the frame to be 6'5" 290/300 lbs and be a monster DT. He's already 255.
He's probably a 3* because that is most likely where his future lies and he's not physically there yet. Great ceiling and apparently a really good kid that you'd expect to work hard and reach his potential.
Really like this pickup.

I'm not just talking about instate battles, we are winning battles in FL (IMG) and TX too. Just beat you out on Stevens out of TN. One name Saban wanted badly that is a sack machine Sci Martin? He is making huge waves at camp. Yep, lost that battle too and that is going to hurt. Buggs, Moses and Wilson next on board...and sorry Shelvin is a pipe dream
Smith will be a good pick up today by you guys, but most logical LSU fans never thought he was coming here. Log jam at WR...

Coming out of Bama, this alone should make him a 5*
