Campbell is a lock to Miami.
Surtain is leaning towards Miami with LSU still in the mix.
I know this because that is what I was told by my cuz who coaches for the American Heritage program.

As I hope I can come back and laugh at you for thinking I would have any reason to lie to a bunch of strangers on a message board.

That's funny... a guy I know that is connected to American Heritage among other schools in south Florida would disagree with that assessment.
Surtain *more* likely to end up at an SEC school, but Miami is in the mix... so inverse of what you've said.
Campbell *no longer* thought to be a lock to Miami (while he was about a month ago). Per his uncle:
"Well well well guys Tyson Campbell's uncle just updated me and other Cane fans. Thanks to Gdawg comments I just thought I would see if any new info is out there. He just told us Tyson is truly torn. Not worried about the depth chart at his 3 top schools. Bama,Dawgs,Canes is it. He said it can really go any which way. That's the latest info I have as of 10 minutes ago. Just thought I would share with you guys"
Long way to go between now and February... would not at all be surprised to see either or both end up at Miami... but this "lock" business is just silly.

Lol bamabully, miami isnt leading LSU for surtain jr. Wtf are u even talking about? Everyone else seems to believe LSU is his leader and has been for some time. You do know that his dad is from new orleans and he has a shitload of family down here right? He wants to come to LSU and be part of dbu. It even came out of his own mouth I believe. So, I don't take your friend seriously at all...if he even exists.

Gotcha. I'll eat crow if he qualifies..... And send my kids there

Love his game. Wish him the best.
*Knew very shortly after he committed, it was not gonna happen, and I was bummed. He had a spot. Nobody's gotta believe it lol.
Thanks for that TigerPaw1

Not promising he's gonna qualify just saying that it's not a concern for AU's staff so we will see. I would love for AU to take him because I love his skillset. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. But I believe you if you say he had a spot. Maybe he needed that kick in the butt to get his grades situated

Replace grades with any problem any other adult has. Hate these things go public when it's a kid. Hate high schools can't...... Well.... Wrong board

Either way, he's very talented and if he makes it over their, I'll be rooting for him. Montravius Adams was one of the greatest high school players I ever saw in person. Been nice to see that Gardner got the most out of him. I've followed him closely. Met his family before he was in high school.
CRG recruits my area and I've ran into him several times over the years.
