3* 2021 TE Nick Elkskis commits to Florida

Claimed an LSU offer yesterday*, committed on Junior Day today. Former Penn State commit from Jacksonville.
MSU, USCe, Tenn other SEC** offers.
*He just posted it on Twitter, no way to verify
**He doesn't claim a UGA offer, but even if he did, I wouldn't mention it because obviously no player with a legit UGA offer would commit to UF

That's the 2nd TE commit for 2021, right?
I know y'all lose the stud this year (Pitts?), but is there a good bit of turnover at the position otherwise? Or just 2 is probably the number you were planning to add there anyways? I think y'all were in the mix late with Dee Beckwith IIRC, so guessing there was likely some shifted TE space from 2020 class, but would assume this would be the only other TE taken barring flips?

Yeah, we're done at TE.
Mullen's focused on bringing in a bunch of these 6-6 220-240 lb jumbo athletes to fill out the TE room the last few years. Some of them show up in star ratings (Pitts, Zipperer) some are just guys they really liked after early evals (Odom, this guy).
I was expecting a lot more H-back types that could block downhill and maybe give you an option on the goal line. It's honestly been one of the biggest changes I've seen to his offense and probably reflects the changes being made to high school offenses.
