2023 five-star wing Justin Edwards is a Kentucky Wildcat, announcing his commitment Monday evening. Ranked No. 9 overall and No. 2 among small forwards in the On3 Consensus, the 6-foot-8 prospect out of Philadelphia becomes Kentucky’s third commitment in the rising senior class, joining five-star guard Rob Dillingham and four-star guard Reed Sheppard.

Love this class we have for 2023. Having actual assistant coaches who are good recruiters is huge, takes pressure off of Cal.

I don’t know how there’s not a ton of pressure on Cal right now. He hasn’t exactly delivered in the biggest moments lately.

I think he’s feeling it too which is why he brought in some key upgrades to the coaching staff.

How do UK fans feel about the program under him? It seems like he’s trying to mix one and done’s with experienced transfers now as opposed to all one and done. He just hasn’t gotten it done in the tournament lately. Last season definitely didn’t help losing to St. Peter’s.
