What's up with this guy? He was a 5* with tons of offers a year or so back, but then it got quiet and he fell like a rock in the rankings. The 247 timeline shows the only recent activity besides committing was an offer from Jackson St.

Started as a freshman at Karr which is an extremely rare thing and put him on the map immediately. Also followed that up with a really good sophomore season in 2019. After his sophomore year he had offers from just about everyone at that point, LSU, UF, FSU, Miami, Tennessee, Bama, UGA, Texas, etc...
Then his junior year (covid year) seems like a mystery, no tape anywhere, 247 dropped him from 90 to 87, etc.
They are expecting big things from him his senior season

That explains a lot, but kind of strange about his JR year.

This kid has some wheels for a big man. Great pick up for the tigers at arguably the best program in Louisiana at the moment.
