So the story I am getting is that he is rock solid to BMac at SC. Evidently BMac has been following him since the 8th grade when BMac was at UGA or earlier at Auburn, I'm not sure if I heard it right and I may have the Auburn and UGA connection confused so bear/bare with me.

Kid is supposed to be a phenom. Transferred from Charrollton? ... to Roswell? Help me out here UGA fans.

He originally had an offer from BMac at UGA in the 8th grade, can that be right? Then Kirby and Company offered him again the first day they took the job in Athens. Saban evidently offered him as a HS freshman as well.

mUSChamp is to have said earlier today, and I am getting this first hand, that this young man is something special, really good kid, raised right, incredible talent and feels like he is already part of the family.

Supposedly, from what I am told, Boom and BMac were smiling from ear to ear today when Todd told them he was ready to get it out of the way and he wanted to be a Gamecock.

Long long long ways to go to 2020 but he will be able to sign in 20 months so heck, time flies. Hope he stays happy and healthy and keeps getting better. Can't wait for film to come out on this young man so we can see what all the excitement is about.

This is gonna sound nuts, I hesitate to repeat it, but I was told George Rogers and Marcus Lattimore both claim this young fellow reminds them of them at his age. That's off the hook if true and I got it second hand from someone who just left the visit.

I’d say chances are better that he ends up at UGA than SCAR, even with his commitment. We’ll see

good luck to you scrooster. As another said, long way to go since that is two years away but you definitely have a chicken leg up against the competition!

Depending on what happens w/ UGA depth chart over next two years, don't be surprised if Kirby comes a 'callin'.

Thanks Long Dawg.

So the stories are coming out tonight, after his interviews started popping ... that evidently it was his relationship with Marcus Lattimore that swayed him. Bobby Bentley is the one that started recruiting him at Auburn ... that's where I got the UGA BMac thing confused with Auburn. BMac was in on him at UGA but Bentley was the first at Auburn.

The rest of the story is that evidently Auburn has been really strong over the years at his HS. Auburn is still after him heavily but UGA is the one that is going to get into his head over the next 20 months although the kid is saying it's not going to happen ... promised Bentley, BMac and Boom he is rock solid to SC. Says he has no intention of being caught-up in the recruiting game and his Mother was down with that all the way today. She said they've seen enough of the recruiting game already, it's been going-on since the 8th grade where the kid was a star playing varsity ball even then. So he's already had to deal with three years of it and they are ready to move on to other things between now and signing day.

Everyone who met and talked with him today says he is mature and focused beyond his years. Said he is a really intelligent, special, person even without the football.

Again, the relationship with Marcus Lattimore seems to be the key element because they never talked about football ... just about life.

Yeah... the reality is just that guys that commit 2 years out seem to flake more often than they don't... at least if they're heavily in demand. 2020 would seem to be a good year if I'm a RB and am considering UGA. Swift will almost assuredly be gone, Zeus will have likely one year left (and Cook for that matter if he follows a Sony like trajectory... or 2 at worst for him). Not that I think UGA will not bring in a RB this season, but it may not be 2 ranked in the top 3 again...

Have no idea where he would sit on our board for 2020... hell I don't even have a good feel for 2019 just yet (still sifting through a lot of stuff on that). Just a long time and a lot of unknowns. Congrats on the commit for now though!

I've talked to people and it seems as if he really does want to end it...granted it BMac gets a HC job before he enrolls we can kiss him goodbye

Well ... now he's saying that he's commited, but leaving his recruiting open.

That didn't take long.

Haha... As I said. Long way to go. Not claiming hell end up anywhere specifically, but 2 years and a "closed case" on the recruitment essentially never happens.
