Four-star athlete Kristian Story is rolling with the Tide.

The Lanett (Ala.) product committed to Alabama over Texas A&M on Thursday morning.

The pledge notches Nick Saban and company seven of the top 10 players in the state of Alabama for the 2020 recruiting cycle.

Is he going to get a shot at playing QB?

Probably not.

Word is Bryce Young is a silent commit and he's our QB in this class.

I would bet A&M had told him he could have a shot at QB, if they didn't get King, so he was waiting to see what shook out there before committing to Alabama.

I wonder if Joel Williams still has a spot at Bama. He's been on commitment watch all summer it seems. I'm getting the feeling he hasn't been a take for them.

Nice pick-up! I didn't know who he was until i heard we were a finalist so i don't think we were a real finalist for him. Saban knows his athletes, that's for sure

From what I can tell we aren't actively pursuing him.

Really good player. I’m sure we would have still taken him as a QB but he always seemed locked into Bama.

You think he ends up at LSU? The feeling I've gotten is that he's going to be hard for us to hold onto if y'all decide you want him. Is he just a bit down your board?

I guess I was thinking he'd be someone you push for if you miss on Roy and it occurs to me I might be counting my chickens before they hatch (but hopefully not).

Kid plays in 1A and is a man among boys. Hard to gauge the talent and how it will translate to SEC ball against that competition tho.

No.

I think LSU will land higher rated guys and Taylor will be forced to look elsewhere.

I think Taylor is a good player. However, he's probably not in Alabama's top 15 targets when it comes to DTs.

I don't think that will happen.

This is a Charles Kelly guy. He coached his dad and seems to really like the kid. Was committed to Tennessee while Kelly was there as an assistant.
