I read an announcement preview article (VIP) today by Steve Wiltfong. In it, Jaquelin Roy"s father talked about how much they both liked and respected the programs and coaching staffs at LSU, ATM and Bama. He said his son had grown up a huge LSU fan and that it's always been his dream and goal to play in Tiger stadium. They both seem like genuinely good people.
My sincere best wishes to Jaquelin, except when we're playing LSU of course.

They usually have them close to where they need to be by the end. But they do sometimes miss really good players. It’s especially weird when someone who is a 3 star in their system commits to a large school like LSU, his film gets posted everywhere and it’s painfully obvious he shouldn’t be a 3 star, and yet he never gets re-evaluated. That is the one thing I don’t like about 247.

Look, i said a few pages back they'd celebrate a verbal commitment from a kid that attends high school on their very own campus as though they actually won a game against Alabama. If they could get on the field right now, they'd bring down the goal posts.

Landing the #1 prospect in the state is reason to celebrate no matter where he’s from. Getting players like Roy to come to LSU and not bama is the only way we will truly challenge them again. That would make me salty too if I were a bama fan.
