Ishmael Sopsher. I know he is occasionally brought up because of the fierce recruiting battle for him in 2019, Amite kid, Vincent Sanders, barber shop, etc. Saban was satan at the time, Bama was/is a hated rival, etc.

Crazy that his career consisted of playing ONLY TWO games. One at Bama and one at USC. He was part of Bama's #1 Class which consisted of future stars Evan Neal, Christian Harris, John Metchie, Will Reichard and Jordan Battle, among others.

He seems to have totally disappeared after trasnferring to Southwest Mississippi CC.

Anyone know what he is doing today, where he is?

Interesting note on the Alabama class. The lowest ranked player for Bama in that class was probably the most valuable. Will Reichard went on to become the all time scoring leader at Bama

That class also ended up being the foundation of the Georgias defense that would win National Titles. We finished ranked 2nd that year but Stetson was ranked a 3 star and we also hit on a few hidden gems.
