Does 247 rank transfers? Seems like they should with how kids use the portal these days.

They have them in the “commit” list, but I don’t think they have an impact in class ranking.
Florida’s class would be ranked a few spots higher if they did.

Hampered by a hamstring injury. Wouldn’t say he sucked.
He had more production than Trevon Grimes before he transferred in, and Grimes turned out to be a heck of a player.

Someone asked why he transferred. It certainly wasn’t because he was a Heisman finalist and tired of catching so many passes. Not my fault his former head coach described him that way.

Kids put in the portal so often and at all times of the year it would be a daunting thing to reevaluate and rerank all of them.

And you used a single quote from Spring of 2019, basically after the season where he was just limited to 4 games because of a hamstring, as a "reason he transferred".

It’s in an article titled ‘What happened with Justin Shorter’. You already mentioned the hamstring, this looks like another contributing factor. I have no idea where his weight is now or where it will be when he plays in 2020 or 2021.

Yeah he doesn't look 250 in that pic, regardless he'll have a whole off season in what has proven to be a good s&c program, so I assume if he has any work ethic at all he'll be good to go by Fall 2020, assuming he gets a waiver, but who knows on that.
