Nah, you just can't handle the truth and like your LSU counterparts, your emotions are showing.

What has Bo Wallace done to establish himself as good?

Oh, I don't know, finish top 10 in the SEC all-time in total yardage. No big deal.

Mariota, Winston, those are good qbs.

I would consider those guys to be better than "good" but oh well. When I think about Heisman winners, I think great.

same skill set as most subpar qbs

Why haven't those guys put up the numbers Bo has?

Harris definitely has the jury still out on him but he looked damnnnn good against miss st

He looked decent while down 3 TDs and Mullen playing not to lose until the last possession. There's a reason Miles didn't play him in games after Auburn. Even his HS coach wanted him to transfer.

Yall can keep counting Harris out all you want. The kid was a freshman. Not a "I was held by twice" freshman either. He was 18 years old.

I can confidently say in the next 2-3 seasons there will plenty of crow to eat regarding him.

Lee had developed well. In 2011 he was #2 in pass efficiency and had LSU at 8-0 averaging over 200 yards passing per game. The issue is that he was pulled for an unknown reason.

Never really counted him out. In fact, I said jury's still out. All I said was he didn't look that good.

And if what you're saying is ultimately true, Harris will likely be there another three years.

Shea is going anywhere to sit for any prolonged amount of time.

IIRC Lee was playing like shite against Alabama and that was the first week Jefferson was back from either suspension or injury. Jefferson came in when Lee was playing like shite, led LSU to a victory in Tuscaloosa and the rest is history.

That's really not the entire story. I think everyone agreed that JJ should have come in for the rest of the Bama game, but what happened afterward was mystifying

The national title game still confuses me. There was stuff going on behind the scenes nobody knows about.

Started before that. Lee's last home game vs Arkansas, JJ has a shaky first qtr and stays in the game. He did fine the second half, but it was a blowout and Lee only got the mercy knee.

SECCG vs UGA, maybe the worst passing performance by a QB I have ever seen and no QB change. Then, the NCG. Something was going on and I think it was just stubborness at that point.

You've already responded again and are pretty spot on. We will never know the issues that were prevalent behind closed doors. Frankly, I don't think we'd want it to get out as I think the team was divided. But that's not based on anything factual, just reading about it a lot in various places.

No. Lee did not average over 200 yards passing per game in 2011. Not even close. Lee had ONE game over 200 yards in 2011. Lee averaged less than 20 passes per game prior to the GOTC. Lee was not a prolific passer by any stretch of the imagination.

Lee was not pulled for an unknown reason. He was pulled because Jefferson was a better QB than Lee. Lee was "efficient," but Jefferson had better regular season passing numbers than Lee, including efficiency: higher Completion %; higher efficiency; higher YPA; lower Interception %.

You must have missed his last two games. He needed to be benched

My apologies. I did the math and he averaged 156.25 yards passing in the first 8 games.

this is true. Whihc also explains the average of 156.

I'm just not going to go down this road right now. Not in 2015. Have a good day.

5-13 for 30 yards vs UGA. Longest pass of the day was 9 yards.

11-17 for 53 yards vs Bama

to the poster above who says Jefferson was better than Lee, do you think Lee could have thrown for more than 30 & 53 yards in either of those games?

JJ and Lee were meant to platoon or be in a two QB system. Neither had the ability to carry a team, both could do something good from time to time.
