Most QBs, even those not enrolling early, will commit early and generally they stick with their commitments. Guys like Terrell Pryor are the outliers. Its to their benefit to get on board early and start recruiting other skill prospects to their school

He's listed at 6'2 on 247, Rivals, Scout and ESPN.

Yeah, because all of those sites just rip off of each other's info. The kid doesn't go to weigh-ins up in Bristol. CT to verify. Like I said, he's a great QB and will be really successful at Ole Miss. But I've seen the kid in person and he's not 6'2".

He fits Ole Miss' offense much better. He's never been under center.
He is very very very polished. Great mechanics, great work ethic. Ole Miss got a good one.
His physical ceiling is not elite, but neither is Drew Brees'. I think the kid will be great for Freeze.
Franks fits LSU better but he's very raw. Has elite natural ability and size but bad mechanics. Will be more of a project while Shea is nearly college ready.
They are very different prospects but both near the top in the country.
Both teams got their guy, so quit acting like children.

That's what I was alluding to. His brother has gone from Arizona to LSU and I'm assuming OM now.
Do you really think if another school offers him a better job early this fall to try to lure Shea, the brother won't try to do the same thing?

Rumor is that his brother is taking as an assistant job in Tampa... looks like Shea might flip his commitment to the Buccaneers to stay with his bro.
