GPA:4.4

I'm grumpy old man enough to still believe this kind of thing is total bullshite.

Hell, if they had this kind of system back when I was in HS, I would have had a GPA of 7.2.

NOW GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!

Wasn't that long ago that a 4.0 was the max you could have and you couldn't graduate early. I would have loved to graduate early instead of taking 3 PE courses of 4 my last semester of senior year.

Why is it BS? If a kid makes straight A's in AP/college level courses, why should he have the same GPA as someone who made straight A's in regular courses?

Been out of school for 30 years, and our AP program gave higher than 4.0.

Its BS cause my school didn't do it, obviously.

Honestly, high schools are so incredibly hard to compare that it doesn't really matter.

Sorry to interrupt this riveting nerd, GPA conversation but what's this about Bryant potentially flipping or decommitting in the next 48 hours?

Someone posted on AE that he could decommit from Chokelahoma within 48 hours and visit Auburn on Wed.

There have been rumors this weekend he may decommit. He's planning on visiting Auburn this week, and if he does decommit and visit, he may commit to AU

That's when you provide HS graduation diplomas, but in separate curricula.

One for College Prep.

One for Basic Studies.

If you want to qualify for academic honors, get your arse in college prep and compete against the big dogs.

But a frickin' 4.0 is a 4.0, no matter what do-goody, oh-you're-the-best, self-esteem raisin' bullshite you wanna pull.

Who cares about GPA scale! Back to cruitin... I was wanting Green. He's a monster at RB.

I like both him and Bryant, I'll take either, but if I had to choose one, gimme Bryant. Bryant is big enough to run inside, but breaks more tackles than Green and is more dynamic. Green really just has a size advantage.

I'd prefer Green. I actually think both have similar speed, but I'm not a huge fan of Bryant's short stride length and cutting ability. IMO, he has a really weird running style that makes me a little hesitant.

Plus, I think Green's style better compliments our other RBs.

Not a fan of his cutting ability? He has excellent cutting ability. And his short stride allows him to have excellent footwork and quicker cuts. I do agree something about his running style seems a bit different, but it doesn't really bother me.

I just don't think Green breaks enough tackles for how big he is

If Bryant does decommit and decides to commit to AU, I bet the coach's take him instead of waiting on Green.
What say you?
