Just that when a coach is on the hotseat sometime recruits start looking elsewhere, but I'm sure you guys will do fine, I see you guys winning at least 8 games if Frazier pans out.I'll get out of your thread and let you get back to talking recruiting.Good luck.

Not yet. Many think Wilkins is pretty much ours though

We will. Wilkins, Tyshon Dye, Green, Greg Bryant. We will get at least one very good RB, maybe two (outside chance)

You guys don't really NEED an elite RB in this class. You've got a great group this season. Onterio, Mason, Blakely, and Grant are all very talented.

Phil Steele predicted us to be 4-8 last year I think. I no longer take his opinion seriously. And I doubt our recruits would look elsewhere. Liner, Lawson, Johnson, and Foster look like they'll be solid recruiters for us and keep players on board.
That said, I don't see us at 7-5, so it's moot.
As for RB's, we'll get Wilkins within the next 2 weeks. After that, we'll focus on Green and Bryant. If we miss on both, oh well. If one wants to come, we'll take him

I'm not really sure what it would take to put Chiz on the hot seat. AU has only had 6 head coaches in the last 60 years. Minus the Bowden fiasco where he quit a few games into the season, the AU HC position has been pretty stable for a long time.
All that being said though, the recruiting trail success needs to turn into on the field success. I think AU is capable of averaging 10 wins a season. We can't/won't compete for the west or titles if we don't.

Yes. Bryan Matthews said yesterday that we probably wouldn't take Dye right now. Idk if this has anything to do with it, but UGA guys says he has grade issues

I rarely post in rivals threads, just read them, but I REALLLY like Dye. FWIW, I've read that grades are an issue and he is likely headed to JUCO. Wouldn't be a bad one to take a flyer on. Anyway, I've read that we offered him as a LB but that's only bc we signed Marshall and Gurley last year. Otherwise I'm sure we would have pursued him very hard, at least IMO
