I got bottom of page'd when I posted this earlier, so here goes again. Anyone want to throw me a bone?

So, who wants to send me that email about the double secret visitor? I figured I'd just wait it out, but now I kinda want to see it.
Someone let me know and I'll post my email. I'd prefer to have it up on here for as little time as possible.

Copeland is a tool. I found it funny that he said Saban is of the highest character, and lines he won't cross. Then says Auburn paid more for Reuben than Bama did. Say what?

Vandy expectations and Auburn expectations are a little different. We will, again, exceed expectations, and continue to do so. We will finally go back to winning games with defense.

So did the guy at Vandy. Is that really what you want to hang your hat on?
Of course not, but Chizik came into a pretty crappy situation in 09. He did better than everyone outside of Auburn fans expected. The same in 2010 and the same last year. It's just funny when it seems like every year all we hear is 6 or 7 wins if you're lucky and we've won 30 games, 3 bowls, and SEC and a national Championship over the last 3 years. No one, especially that guy at the Auburn airport, expected that from Chizik.
Now we really get to see what he's made of in the next 2-3 years. I think he's done a pretty fantastic job of building a really good foundation, and getting in players and good coaches, for the most part, to really start to push this program forward in the next few years.
No one wants to say we've exceeded expectations year after year, but when other fanbases keep selling us short and we end up better than they think, I think it's worth mentioning.

Obviously. However, saying that the ship at AU is upright because "expectations have been exceeded" shouldn't be good enough for AU.

Well, I'm sure you will. However, Jabba the Hut was a killer O coord with the Pats. Everyone knew that he was going to knock it out at UF when he was away from the HC position. BVG fielded some good D's at UGA. The chemistry may not be the same at AU, ya never know.
Clemson and MSU this year are huge for AU going forward.
With all that said, I'll jump out and stop hijacking.

So what's the expectation for this year? What do you guys think Auburn's record will be?

Lines he wouldn't cross willingly. Left it open in case some dirty barners forced his hand and he had to unwillingly cross some lines in order to save some poor troubled youth from our witch craft. He's a saint that guy. We are lucky to live along side him.

Almost half coming in one year. In said year, a once in a generation player was under center with a line with about 300 starts total under their belt. How much time does that buy folks if just "expectations are being exceeded"?
I said I was out in the other one, and I'll stick to my word in this one. Have a good one, Aubies. I'm gonna go organize my 100 UA hats and call in to Finebaum.

Wait a day or two and alahunter or another auburn centric bama poster will start a tread about this and you can get everyone's opinion.
And we havent even officially named a qb so I'm saying this question isn't quite ripe.

With what it took to right the ship, the fact he has exceeded expectations is pretty remarkable.

Expectations are very high for this AU fan., but those threads have been done on the secrant. Not trying to be a prick, but we need to get back to recruiting talk folks. TIA

Phil Steele has you guys finishing 7th in the SEC, which would probably mean a 7 and 5 or so regular season.I personally think Auburn does better than that.If to guys do go 7 and 5 this year, do you think Chiz will be on the hotseat? Will your recruits start to look elsewhere?
