I also found this interesting, and I don't remember the full thing being posted in here:

Justin Hoke said that 2014 Northridge (Ala.) athlete Bo Scarbrough texted him to say he is NOT announcing his decision on July 23. Hoke then asked if Reuben's decision had an impact, he replied, "yeah". Scarbrough is very close with Reuben and Dee Liner. Hoke then asked if Auburn was his current leader, he said, "naw not yet".

Interesting.

The future looks bright at linebacker...

Kris Frost (OLB) and Reuben Foster (MLB) should be starters next year, with players rotating at the other outside linebacker position. I think we'll see Trey Johnson, Justin Garrett, and Anthony Swain battling it out there.

Where is TheSystem to tell us about Carl Lawson and Dee Liner going somewhere other than Auburn? I want to ask him what he thinks about Carl Lawson deciding not to take his visits to USC and UCLA.

Isn't he going to be at middle linebacker? I don't know, but he'd be one to watch as well if he's playing outside.

With BVG, I'm thinking he'll be outside. No inside info, but the stach has repeated he wants a big MLB. Big Reu has that locked down the next three years.

I'm sure Cass could play both outside and mike. plus Javi Mitchell enrolled early this year, we're finally building talented depth at linebacker.

Bryan Matthews just stated that Reuben Foster is at the senior camp and is recruiting players with his new tattoo, so its legit.

I love Reuben. The kid is going to bring so many highly recruited players here. Not to mention he is pretty good at linebacker.

I can't wait to watch him play in person this year.

We're finally gonna have some good weight at LB over the next 3-4 years. My guess as to what weight they'll play at. This is obviously assuming we sign the current commits.

MLB:
Holland - 245
Foster - 255-260
McKinzey - 250-255
Landrum - 250

OLB:
Frost - 235-240
Johnson - 235-240
Toney - 240
Garrett and Mitchell - 225-230
Swain - 240
Davis - 235

Quote from Frazier's dad:
quote:

I know of a certain group of players...one that I will not name...who got together after the bowl game last year and said..."Ok. This years over. Everybody got their shots in...now it's By God our turn". And made a pact to work like crazy to be as good as they knew they could be.

We comin'.

The more I think about it, the more I see how good Auburn is going to be. I've been saying they lose to LSU, Bama, and UGA, and have a toss up game with Arky.

I think they beat Arky, have a toss up game with UGA, and if, and ONLY IF, Frazier can LSU off balance, they have a toss up game with LSU.

Can anyone post cliffs of BMatt's new update on TM and SW? I let my subscription lapse and haven't gotten around to resubing.

Says Matthews is still in Athens, so he isn't expected to be in Auburn today.

Crap. I really hope we can end up flipping him.

Seems like the insiders and beat writers are all split on whether or not we end up with him.
