Jones is who I would put 2nd. I like the way he runs, reminds me of Kenny Irons a little.

Rivals Ranking of the DL:
quote:
1. DE Carl Lawson, Alpharetta, (Ga.) Milton: The 6-foot-2, 253-pound defensive end certainly proved he is a five-star prospect and was the consensus top performer on the day, regardless of position. Lawson lined up at DE for several 1-on-1s and the best offensive tackles on the field had trouble even getting a hand on him. The Auburn commit then moved inside and showed power against the guards and tackles. After he was done with the linemen 1-on-1s, he played linebacker and did a good job covering the tight ends.
quote:
6. DE Dee Liner, Muscle Shoals, Ala.: The 6-foot-2, 274-pound five-star prospect showed flashes of why he is so rated so highly. The Auburn commit has an incredibly strong base and used it to get great push against the offensive linemen. He looked good in the morning agility drills as well, showing that despite his size he is still capable of lining up at defensive end. Liner had a good inside move and, for a player that seems slightly undersized, he also showed quite a bit of power and speed.

quote:Those two just straight dominated the competition. And I love how they celebrate with each other after everything they do. You can tell they're becoming like best friends, and I can't see anyone flipping them. We got something special in them. If we can really land Monty Adams and Reuben Foster, this class with be Chizik's best ever.

Arron Shuttles: "I was just joking around with Dee Liner and asked him if he is telling people that Reuben Foster is flipping to Auburn. His reply? "He is. He's coming to Auburn. If you only knew what I knew." Dee and I are tight and we clown around a lot so it's hard to tell if he
was serious. I'll ask Foster about it when he gets here."
Just saw this on The Bunker.

TideSports' Top Performers Regardless of Position:
quote:
8. Earnest Robinson, WR, (Pinson Valley HS, Ala.): Robinson made a statement on Saturday and a different player than he was six months ago. He is explosive coming off the ball. The Auburn commitment ran great routes and adjusted to ball when it was in the air. His speed has greatly improved, and he beat most of the guys he went up against on go-routes. He still can improve his hands, but Robinson certainly received high marks today.

My God, I know they don't have pads on but Lawson is explosive. Him and Liner should be right up there with Adams and Bigelow.

That's from yesterday, by the interview that included Aaron Suttles, Reuben Foster, and Dee Liner "photobombing" the interview, it seems he was just joking around.

One of your fans decided it would be a good idea to attack me about Reuben Foster and how we don't put players in the NFL
Dude, he was just a kid.
Why do you UGA fans like to pick on kids?

Semi-off topic question, but does anyone know how I could get in contact with one of the mods at AuburnEagle? My account got banned immediately after I signed up, and I got a PM from a mod saying, "If you're going to troll, at least pick a more creative username".
Given, I was going there to troll - and did successfully under a different username, but now I'd actually like to get over there and be able to talk some recruiting.
I wish they werent so strict about banning people. I got banned saying that Ted Roof did not deserve to keep his job after last season.. I loved talking recruiting over there. Had a lot of good info

The only reason I haven't been banned is because I know how to bite my tongue
I keep debating on doing something to go out in a blaze of glory, but I enjoy the recruiting info too much
