I feel its going to take a lot to switch him from AU. Just think hopes should remain tempered here. When he went to AU last weekend he had 8 family members with him and he talked a lot about getting other big time players to sign at AU with him. Hate to break in on the drama, but does anyone know how our baseball recruiting is going? I'd love for us to actually be competitive again on the diamond.

We've got a couple of really good guys that signed with us, but Addison Russell is projected to be selected first round in the MLB draft and I read somewhere that David Dahl is a projected 7th-8th round pick. I doubt either of them make it on campus tbh

Saban never said that. He did say that if you are not 100% sure that you are ready to commit to us, then he would rather that you not commit. Once you make that commitment, then your recruitment is over. He never said, that our commits could not take visits..

I'm really hoping MLB goes the way of the NFL and makes these kids wait 3 yrs before they can go pro. I don't blame them though, It's purely selfish on my part. I would've taken 5 mil out of highschool. But college baseball would be so much better.

Dahl is projected to go higher than Russell. Top 15 pick. He's already told the coaches he isn't coming. Neither is russell or rock rucker. Its also a possibility that Sam Gillikin gets drafted high enough to forgo college. Signed some damn good ball players, wont get many on campus
