Give me an idea. Yunel Escobar or Nyger Morgan type character issues?
Think Yunel Escobar with a hint of Albert Belle.

Because he's not objective. The coach is always gonna lobby for the kid, no matter if he's trash or a good kid. What do you expect him to say? pretty obvious.
Let's use quotes from his mother, principal, or friends then. Wait, even though they're around him all the time, they're just going to lobby for him. Don't you think it's kind of stupid to listen to rumors of his character? None of the analysts are around him all the time. None of the posters on BOL, ITAT, Bunker, TideSPorts, etc. are around him a lot. I'd much rather listen to someone that is, which is his Head Coach.
Now, if you can bring some evidence of his acting up or getting in trouble, I'll take back my statement. But all his "character issues" come from rumors right now.

I aint biting D just trying to bring one of the lost fish back to safety. Although it's looking like he already is in the frying pan and I may be too late.

One of the guys on BOL who was alluding to it is apparently a teacher at his highschool.

None of those people are objective either. Why don't we take the criminal's lawyer's word for it? TO's agent says he's a great guy.
I'll take the word of a trusted insider who's been right time after time over a bunch of people trying to get the kid an offer if i want honesty, but that's just me I guess.

TTs gets in that mode where he just sees red.
Big issues like arrests, suspensions, etc worry me. Attitude issues like being overly rude/cocky/selfish/whatever are issues that get changed quickly in college. If they aren't, then usually you're out on your arse after your first year. Worst case scenario, we process the kid. Best case scenario, he lives up to some of the hype he's received.

TO may be a greedy player and bad teammate (I say bad, he was turrible for most everyone), but has he had any legal trouble outside of not paying his child support? I've never heard of him getting in trouble with the law for stupid decisions or bad judgement.

Well, I think his athletic ability mainly got his offers. Of course all coaches lobby for their players to get them out there. He's one of the best wide-outs in the nation. I can't wait until he's enrolled.

To the services, maybe. He's just not that high on our board.

I wouldn't group him among the elite. I think he's a work in progress with a Terrell Zachery type ceiling.

This is a really strong TE class, so I wouldn't put him as one of the best.
