I would love to get Antonio Conner, which I think we could get even from South Panola, but he has to look at our depth chart and be a bit discouraged.

Chad, he could be fantastic at Safety, but I like our depth at the position with Clinton-Dix and Collins. Not to mention we are in the final 3 for Antonio Conner, the All-American from MS.

I haven't seen anything on film that tells me he can't play Safety at the next level. Don't get me wrong, I'm no expert on breaking down film and projecting where anyone should play at the next level, but not many people expected Vinnie to come in and make an impact at a talent rich position so quickly either.

Yea I feel you, I dont even think you can put a position on Vinnie. If you look at the A Day game they had him up at the LB position some. Kid is just a football player.

I think we should just leave those Miss players alone. All of them. They either dont understand the defense or get into trouble. JMHO. There will be those who come in and be good but the ones who we think will be great usually dont pan out.

See, that's where we disagree. Connor is the cousin of Jeramie Griffin, who only left UA due to injury (he still loves Alabama and is telling Connor as much). He certainly has a comfortably level with the UA coaches.

1)Bone has known for weeks that Bateman was coming to Bama, but he thought Bateman would commit in June.
2)Still predicts Nkemdiche to Bama.
3)Thinks the Bateman committment may help with Robert Foster.
4)No shot with Vernon Hargreaves III
5)Thinks it is very possible that we get a commitment from Jonathan Allen this weekend or shortly after.
6)Thinks Allen and Beckwith can play the same positions, but Beckwith can play ILB.
