CLEVELAND -- The Browns have come to terms with Alabama fullback/tight end Brad Smelley, according to a report on Scout.com
According to the report, Smelley's deal is for four years and worth $2.14 millions, including a signing bonus of $45,890.
Smelley, 6-2, 230, was selected in the seventh round (247 overall) after starting 10 games for the Crimson Tide last season. His most notable game was in the BCS Championship victory over LSU when he caught seven passes.

Crimson never attended Bama or even lived in Bama he actually lives in Louisiana.
He has a POS house
She lied to him one time when they were supposed to later meet up and said her car was broken. It really wasn't, she went out and got drunk, met up with her ex and banged him and it was amazing
Crimson is a druggie who smokes pot everyday

Crimson said:

Is now waiting tables

What in the hell? $2 million for a 7th round pick. That seems like a lot.

wow good for brad smelley. there were a lot more talented players to come through UA while he was there that will never make that much money. hard work pays off.

There are a couple of problems with his retort.

Crimson said:
Coastie is an alcoholic - (maybe/maybe not but not sure how he would know)
Pill popper (Not sure meds for ruptured disk would equate to pill popper btu what would I know)
Lives with grandma (ruptured disk caring for Grandma who passed away many months ago but yeah, she lives in what was Grandma's house)
Is now waiting tables (not sure how this is a cut if she is making a living)
I forgot what else.

As I said before, weak reply to getting toasted.

With two running backs already committed for the class of 2013, one would think Alabama is done recruiting the position for this year. However, the Crimson Tide has shown recent interest in four-star and Rivals100 running back Derrick Green and appear willing to add a third running back to their class.

The 6-foot, 215-pound running back has been in contact with Alabama recently, and Crimson Tide coaches are anxious to get the star recruit in Tuscaloosa for a visit.

"They like my size, but also that I have the speed to go with it," Green said. "I make people miss and get yards after contact; I think that's what they like the most."

Although Alabama has already received commitments for two four-star running backs, Altee Tenpenny and Tyren Jones, Green feels confident he would be able to compete for a spot in the backfield if he were to commit to Alabama.

"The fact that they have two other running backs is not an issue, because they don't really have a running back like me," Green said. "I have power, speed and I can catch out of the backfield."

Alabama has received great production from the running back position in recent years. With a deadly combination of speed and size, Green has the potential to excel the same way as recent UA greats Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram did during their college careers.

"I can definitely see myself being one of those backs," Green said. "I really like Mark Ingram a lot. The way he plays, I have always looked up to him a lot."

Green does not currently have a top list of school and said he views every school recruiting him equally. However, he did mention he was impressed with much of what UA has to offer in its football program.

"Seeing their tradition and how they put people in the NFL, they produce great backs," Green said. "I definitely want to go to a school that will run downhill."

The talented running back has yet to visit Tuscaloosa for, but he plans to travel to UA as well as Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Oregon at some time during the summer.

"I just want to meet some of the players and check out the facilities they have down there," Green said. "I want to meet the coaching staff, especially the offensive coordinator and see what he has to say."
