QB-Cooper Bateman 4 star
RB/Ath-Alvin Kamara 4 star
TE-Josh McNeil 4 star
DE/OLB-Jonathan Allen 5 star
OLB-Matthew Thomas 5 star
DE-DeMarcus Walker 4 star
DE-Henry Poggi 4 star
CB-Brendan Langley 4 star
CB-Maurice Smith 4 star
OLB/HB-Walker Jones 3 star
DE/OLB Robert Nkemdiche 5 star
QB-Ferguson
OT-Santa Marina?

I do not think we will go after a NG in this class because I think three of the true freshmen will get good looks there.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens with our OL and DB recruiting in this class. We should take about 2-3 more OL IMO and another CB or 2 would be great for the secondary. Throw in one of Bell, Connor, or Matthews At safety along with another corner and Averett and we can call it a class for DB's.

Not sure if it got mentioned, but 2014 RB Joseph Yearby committed to FSU. Bama was after him, right?

Good list. Interesting that both you and Tidesaint have Langley on your lists. From everything I've seen it looks like he's going to UGA.

The one position that I notice we are both lacking on is NG. What are we gonna do about that?

I know there aren't many target at that position right now, but it our depth there scares me.

He named us his leader a while back, but had connections to FSU. We are after Racean Thomas, Bo Scarbrough, and Leonard Fournette for 2014 though so its not really much of a loss.

I think Bama is concentrating on Bo Scarborough, Rock Thomas, and possibly Leonard Fournette at the RB position for the 2014 class.

We can't take them all.

I think we will look for a Juco at NG or find another Darren Lake type prospect that blows up at camp.

Thomas looks like he'll be pretty solid, any idea on where he's leaning early?

I'm still not sold on Scarbrough being a RB in college, guess we'll see. And I thought Bama was recruiting Fournette as a LB? Or was that LSU?

I'm not an insider by any stretch of the imagination, but from what I can tell if we put the full court press on Langley, then he will be ours.

The LSU Recruiting Board would have you believe this. If any of the 2014 RB recruits switch to LBer it will be Scarborough, not Fournette.

Langley seems to be one of the kids that suffers from visit high. It could be an interesting battle down the stretch but for now it looks like he's all UGA.

Yep that's where I got that from

And I agree, Scarborough would be the LB of that group. But I could see him being a beastly WR too

Letting Bo play anything besides WR or RB in college would be a huge waste IMO. Too dangerous with the ball in his hands.

I've looked at the JUCO players that may fill the NG position and none of them make me want to offer them. It could be a very lean year JUCO wise.

That may be, but I would rather him start for 3 years at LBer than waste away at WR/TE for 4 years.

Just for factual reasons, that Dallas Elite 11 MVP for Bateman was purely by 247. Devante Kincaide was the actual Elite 11 MVP and got the invite to the nationals not Bateman. Bateman did perform very well though and it was a loaded event.
The Elite 11 organizers/coaches actually said the Colombus event was the most talented group they've seen all year. Had a ton of kids from this and next year's class. Not sure I buy it looking at the Dallas list but it's what they said.
