I've heard UGA if they offer. He already has a teammate committed. I haven't really heard Bama was even recruiting him. Maybe things have changed. Kid is like 6'3 165. Very raw player.

Thanks. There just hasn't been much talk about him to Bama other than being named a finalist. Could just be dropping the name for a tad more notoriety.

Other than his height, Bama has a few athletes committed that fit pretty much the same bill.

I don't think they did at Tenn either although honestly a Tenn fan would be able to answer that better, and you're right about camps, but some of those NCAA regulations I think prohibits coaches from being on Campus or some type hangups, I know rumblin man used to have a big rec weekend at Ole Miss I believe when he was HC

I still have to finish reading "Meat Market", was pretty much about how YawYaw did things at Ole Miss recruiting wise. Put it down half way 2 years ago and never picked it back up.

Is it YawYaw, Ramblin Man (what the Pirate called him no shite they are good friends ) or Deliverance (I remember Sly Croom said one time "He reminds me of something outta Deliverance, so that's what I'm a call him 'Deliverance" to some State booster and alumni club one time )

OMG Bama now recruits the JLB position and the Percy Harvin position. We will not be stopped now.

Hopefully they have a better plan laid out for him. Corey Grant was told about a potential slot/RB position, but that didn't turn out. Then again, he took his ball and went home before we had any chance to see it.

If Chris Jones blows up in the slot position like I think he will, I could see them trying to add more tweaks to it. Like putting someone like Kamara there, who could take the screens and quick slants, but also come back at take a handoff up the gut.

Then get mad he isn't getting enough touches and demands to be traded...

With all due respect to Corey Grant, he wasn't the player that Kamara is. He might have been faster in a straight line, but they don't run 100 yd dashes on the football field very often. Kamara has much better hands and vision than Grant.

TBH, I just liked getting Grant because we got him out of auburn's backyard.

Why ? All you would do is sit in a hotel room on TD the whole time .Posting stupid post after stupid post for the masses.

Thank god though because you know we all just love reading your 300-400 posts a day.... 90% of which we get to read on Alabama's recruiting thread.

So basically I just want to say thank you.For being so damn awesome and spending your college life posting on TD.Dont you let anyone tell you any different your the best !

I do agree he has better hands, but I have seen knocks on Kamara's running style. I haven't watch much myself yet, but they say it's more straight line with burst than juke and jive.

No offense anyone can call a recruit 100% months before it happens and if it works out they get ecred. But I will tell you that I knew in Dec Jenkins was not going to UA but UGA. So I had already heard that from several UA insiders a month before it happened.

Last year right before NSD CMR and the whole defensive staff(like 7+) showed up to visit Pagan. To make one late push and at that time many including myself and his HS coach thought he would head to UGA, but he picked UA. So I am not worried about UGA unless Jenkins has become a numbers concern for UA. I usually do not like to say we pass on a kid but in this case if he does not pick UA we passed on him. Because if UA wants him he will commit to UA Monday.

I was not trying to say we would pass on Jenkins. I was trying to make a point that the only way Jenkins does not commit to UA is because we passed. Meaning he will be commiting to us over UGA and UF IMO. I know we would not pass on him and I do not think UGA or UF has done enough to keep him form coming to TTown.

This is what you said on January 7th FWIW.

Jenkins preferred bama, his parents preferred Uga. In the end he made the right choice, more PT available at his position at Georgia. He'll be a good one but Alabama has signed several studs that can play the same position

Kamara just looks like a WR when I watch him on the field. Some say he has a straight line running style, I say he hits the hole with authority. His acceleration is off the charts, which is exactly what you want in a slot WR.

The problem with Grant was that his hands weren't good enough to play WR. That's why he was experimented on as a CB at one point in his career. He's faster than Kamara, but not as good as a football player IMO.

Like I said, I'll have to sit down and watch more, I've probably seen less than a minute. I've seen some camp stuff, but not that much game film.

So he's more Dee Hart than Grant in that case(as he was talked up as a potential slot WR/RB too), although not as thick in the legs. Ingram was recruited as a slot WR by a few school too, but we know that never happened.

Need to go watch Mag...he's a better runner than you think, not as much juke as say Drake from last year, but definitely coachable to get better feet under him and vision to make a move in space, he's a very raw prospect, but I see him as a VERY coachable type runner, looks a lot to me like Knowshon Moreno did in HS
