There was a ridiculous amount of top tier LB's in LA this year and they took the one's they thought fit their system the best. Most LSU fans will tell you that in a normal year they would have taken him a long time ago.

Louisiana had its best LB class in like 20 years, and Peters was odd man out.
In any year, he would have been Top 3 LBs on LSU's board.
Edit: Good pickup. I hope he doesn't do anything to beat LSU in the future.
