So we've only got 4 guys coming in this year from Arkansas. That's gotta be an all time low right?
ETA: we only had 5 in 2010

Cause our state sucks for talent lately

Yeah, but damn, 4 guys in the entire state. Pretty turrible considering it's not like we lost guys besides the Jonesboro kid

Yea it sucks real bad
I'm ready for August already.

When's the last time Pine Bluff or Dollarway produced a meaningful Razorback?
LR Central? Fort Smith Northside? Southside? Bentonville/Rogers needs to start producing.
Forrest City had Sleepy last year but can't think of the last FC recruit before him.
There were a couple guys in the deep south part of the state that would have been heralded 10 years ago, the level of talent we're trying to bring in has us going coast to coast to make the next step.

Well, DeAngelo Williams was a stud from Wynne and there's been a few kids from that area.
NWA has produced some nice lineman lately, but for obvious reasons the athletes aren't coming from up here

Arkansas has some great 2013 prospects... Unfortunately Bama figured it out already.
where is the OT 'check in thread?'

The more these traditional power programs get commits before NSD of the current class I think we'll be better off eventually.
I don't like the early commit cycle, a lot happens from Mid Jr. year to the end of their Sr. year. Bama is the hot ticket right now regardless of the extras that happen to find themselves in the player's hands, everyone wants to go to a winner where there's ridiculous support. We're getting there but everyone else is improving too.

Winning 2 of the last 3 MNC's will open a few kids doors for ya. I feel like this years class really showed that we can recruit nationally and I think next year could be a top 10 class possibly

Hey Hogs, If yall wanna post the times your recruits are announcing in that thread I started, I can add them to the OP. I figured it would be easier for everyone to have it in all one place. I'll try to keep it updated with the commitments during the day too

Fortunately... CBP has been stubborn about his red shirts. I think we will consistently put well developed players on the field - as long as we can get coachable talent.
It may prolong our chance at the NCG... but we wont have the feast or famine of the 'Nutt' days.

A lot of people don't understand why we're excited about this class as is. We've seen the amt. of development Petrino's program results in with players. They really transform these guys into players that have a real shot at the next level.
Even Ray Dominguez was picked up by the Packers late in the year. So far in this class we've added depth where we need it and brought it guys with solid measurables. If we end up w/ DGB, Diamond, Peters, or Neal those are cherries on top of a solid class that doesn't really have any weak spots. Almost all fall I was curious why we weren't in on Peters, I think this is one of the immediate results we'll see in firing Wily and bringing in the Ostate Defensive coaches. I think we'll make some in roads in S.LA over the next few years and grab some MS talent as well.
At this point keeping Gardner, locking down Diamond, and flipping Peters are priorities. I like Hankins a lot but not so much on Harding. There's a lot of players in this class, real players that will keep us in the Top 10 the next few years.

OT-lounge check in? I this feels a lot getting tasked to find batteries for chem lights.
I want DGB for one reason: National kudos. Other than that, I dont think he will be a huge deciding factor in our season outcome.

Told him twice before and he still is asking where to go.
Sounds like my little brother where I have to actually put it right in front of him.
