I'm a very positive person on life in general. But with sports and such I'm pessimistic as hell. It works great. You don't get emotional invested in the games and pissed for weeks about it. So much easier to put it behind you if it goes the way you expected and can watch sport center and do your normal life shite

Same. I would get so emotionally invested in every game and even more so for the big ones. If we lost I couldn't watch TV for days because I didn't want to see anything that reminded me of it.

I'd be in my car driving the punch the steering wheel

Got bad for a while.

This season was the first time in a few years where I was emotionally invested in A&M football. Man did I pay a fricking price. I feel like I'm about to make the same leap with the Texans.

2003 LSU @ OM is the game that changed my outlook on sports in general...I'll never get that emotionally invested again
