He is saying he wants to play with Masson Smith who is a big LSU lean, and probably headed to LSU. Now, most times those type things don't work out, but I would guess that LSU is in a better position to land him than Georgia. To laugh at LSU for feeling like they have a good shot at landing him is silly and trolling.

*Saying that while looking at some of our UGA fans*

I do think Georgia is in it for him, and we have a shot at him, though.

Okay. Did I say something funny?

My comment was not meant to insinuate that he decommitted from Clemson because Georgia was pursuing him, so I'm at a loss as to why you are laughing.

As long as we have Kirby, we are in it for all of them! Prove me wrong LSU freaks!

I can’t blame the kid. When a legendary coach like Clay Helton gives you the opportunity to play for him it would be foolish to pass that up.

Is friends with Davis our current LB commit as well according to him. We definitely have a few nice advantages working to our favor here. Although I get the funny suspicion he's leaning USC at the moment to stay closer to home. Things obviously could change though over next several months.

I didn’t see anyone claim UGA wasn’t in it, just that LSU is in good position. There’s a difference.

I suspect a lot of things will change. He said he was decommitting from Clemson because it was too far away from home. Honestly, though? I think it was because he wanted to take visits and get wined and dined, and Clemson is notorious for telling their recruits they can't do that and stay committed to Clemson.

Time will tell. It will be interesting. I had not read that he was close to your LB (not saying he is not) but I have read that he and Smith want to play together. Like I said, that is said almost every year several times and it rarely works out, so we'll see. Given the choice, though I wish he were besties with one or two of our players.

Their dads are good buddies (Davis' and Foreman's) supposedly, so they know each other pretty well.

It's tough to recruit on a perpetual hotseat. Let's wait for the "fire Clay helton" movement to rev back up and see how Foreman reacts before predicting USC.

This is what is kinda scary because the rumor mill is that Davis could potentially flip to USCw

Tweet literally says distance from home was the main factor and the first responses we get are “he’s going to Georgia” “he’s going to LSU”

Y’all know how far it is from California to Georgia/Louisiana?

Why is an Auburn fan in this conversation?

Auburn gets kids from Alabama and Georgia, that’s about it.

Ah! That makes sense, then.
