was hoping for #1 overall on 247 and rivals this Friday but Booth decided to postpone his announcement.

The real test is sustaining this recruiting run in 2015.

This is a cute little theory and all, but Butch already has a few committed for 2015 already :)

Recruiting rankings don't even matter right now. You have thirteen commitments right now. That's why you're number three.

We'll have 16-17 more so this will surely hurt us, right?

they might finish top 15 nationally which is good considering a shitty HC and staff.

If we finish outside the top 10 I'll use Saban as my avi for a month. You have to use Fulmer for a month if we end up 10th or better. Deal?

Yes, it very well could. Quality over quantity. Eventually the quality of the players means more than the quantity of commitments. Look at the averages of the commitments. Tennessee is pretty far back in that aspect.

Expected to land 9-11 more four stars. Quality will not be lacking in this class imo.

So, say 10 more 4* players, that would give you 1 5* and 13 4* for the year.

This would put you somewhere around 10th in the country and 6th in the SEC looking at last years rankings

Almost the exact same class aTm signed last year. We will likely sign 32 as well.

Top 8 in the nation is pretty solid.

louisville is in the top 10 with 13 3 stars, do you think that is how they finish? who knows, maybe TN will end up with the best class, but beating your chest about recruiting rankings in may is just sad.

Agreed.

Tennessee has been hot shite for half a decade. Getting a top 10 class is impressive. And I for one am glad to see it.

here's a free article on the rankings. Rivals doesn't believe Louisville will stay among the top classes

Tennessee is ranked third in the team recruiting rankings. Their average RR is just 5.75, which would be on pace for a top 10 class, but the Vols are in position to make a huge impact on Georgia's deep pool of talent, and if they do well with a strong crop of in-state talent, the Vols could be have a top-5 class. Kentucky is no slouch, either. The Cats are at No. 18, even though they have just seven commitments. They do have a 5.743 average RR, and are on pace for a top-15 class.

thanks for the link.
