ZERO Sympathy for Henry Ruggs - VIDEO Proves He Regularly Drove At Excessive Speeds.

I know this has been discussed ad nauseum on here, but I don't understand why there's so much sympathy and compassion for Ruggs out there. Why? Because he can run fast and jump and catch? Imagine if this was any other random person who DIDN'T play football. Everyone would be wanting the harshest possible sentence.
A beautiful young woman BURNED ALIVE because of him. Witnesses could hear her screaming as she burned... Driving 156 mph is reckless and stupid, even by drunk person standards. In my opinion, he deserves a heavy, life-ruining sentence, the same as anyone who isn't rich and famous.
*UPDATE* Video emerges from 2020 shows Ruggs speeding excessively with a girl in the car, scared for her life.
“You look scared,” Ruggs tells Washington, who also goes by the name Rudy Washington.
“Just don’t do it no more,” Washington is heard saying in the clip. “What you about to do?”
“Launch,” Ruggs responded. “What do rockets do? Take off.”
The car then lurches, causing Washington to drop the camera. “Slow down!” she said in the video, seemingly out of breath. “Take me back to the house. I dropped my phone.”

I don't think any Alabama fan has expressed sympathy for Henry.

The details about how the young victim died after the impact are absolutely horrific and disturbing. I hope he gets the max sentence

Adult choices have adult consequences. Life isn’t a video game. Maybe he will learn from his mistake but he’s gonna be doing hard time.

Can't recall which thread I was reading. But the 23 year old female he hit survived the crash. She was pleading for help and everyone was trying but she was pinned in. Died from the resulting fire. Horrible.

This whole situation was sad and avoidable. Who drives 156 miles an hour while intoxicated? I’m hoping for max sentance to prevent something like this happening again. Take an Uber if you are drunk

Plus, everyone I see on TV is expressing sympathy for Ruggs. Talking about how sad his situation is and so forth.
I don't see anyone out there saying "frick this guy. he deserves the harshest punishment there is. He did a terrible thing."
