My score has been 45-24 Bama for over a week and I’m sticking with it. We just don’t have the horses on defense and Saban has a stable full of them.

I could very well be wrong. And I think it's great that Ole Miss and Arkansas are making waves this year.
But we've seen this so many times with Alabama that it's hard for me to think they're gonna be in trouble like so many here think.
They've had games where we've doubted them before and they come back and reestablish their dominance.
Ole Miss will score points but Bama wins by 14 or so in a shootout. Might look similar to LSU vs. Bama in 2019, but Bama comes out on top. I don't think it'll be quite as high scoring as last year.

Arky held Old Sis to 21 points last year and Indiana held them to 26. Arky had three down linemen and dropped 8. It confused the hell out of Corral and he threw 6 interceptions. Will CNS and Golding do something similar or will they give all the older Bama fans heart attacks?
The score will be determined by whether CNS uses the correct scheme against Lane and crew. CNS accused ole Miss of stealing Bama's signals. I bet he has been preparing for months to deal with the Lane train. Bama should win this one, but I don't have a clue what the score will be.
It isn’t in Saban’s nature to sit in zone coverage. Even against an air raid MSU team last year, he preferred cover 2 man to zone. He does not even teach defenders to play area zone anyway. They run match up zone that ends up being an area+man hybrid in principles.
Barry Odom comes from the cover 2/quarters tradition and basically every Big Ten team is playing some version of cover 2, cover 3, quarters, or in Iowa’s case cover 6 (quarter-quarter-half). Alabama could probably stop a few teams better than they do if they changed schemes but nobody is going to tell a man with 7 rings how to run his defense…so here we are…

i don’t predict road wins against top ten teams. i think it’ll be a game though. if we protect the ball we could win. Bama 41-38

Corral will have to play perfect. We will have to get some turnovers and the ball bounce our way for us to win. We just don’t have the depth yet to run with them. I think we can win but realistically, depth will be our downfall. Hope I’m wrong but It’s the truth.
