It was over 5 years ago. It really isn't a tough concept and I am a little shocked you're struggling with it.

Well. Let's take a look. One of your posters put down the records SouCar had against your rivals. he mentioned Clemson and North Carolina. You said he did UGA a big favor.....insinuating by not posting your record against us he did us a favor. If you were not calling us your rival, then why did he do us a favor? Why would he mention us at all, since we are not your rival.
As for me call us rivals? I said "rivals" to describe your post about us. I don't consider us rivals, although I really do enjoy our games against you. I'm very pleased you guys have had some very good teams the last few years. But, if you look at my post...I clearly said that Spurrier was the rival, NOT SouCaro.

Man you guys are flaming hard huh. We aren't rivals, both sides agree. They have been, with the exception of the giant crap we took on the field last year, pretty good games over the last handful of seasons.

I think the media is responsible more so than either fanbase for the whole 'rivalry' thing.
It's like they are on a mission to make our game a recognized rivalry.

No one thinks this. It is just a joke. Everyone in the sec west is a rival. Same with UGA and the east, but you guys have ga tech as well.
Some games are bigger than others, but when you play every season and are competing for the same goal, you are a rival.

I mean they can't get any worse in some cases. I expect that we'll go at least 1 for 5 against UF and Bama and at least 2 for 5 against Georgia.

If Muschamp leads you in the right direction, I could easily see where we could become rivals.......in my eyes, anyway. You guys have come a long way, and I like it that way. The East is better with a strong SouCar program, and the entire SEC is better for it. I don't mean to flame, by the way. I just try to correct some (What I consider) inaccuracies. It's hard to tell a tone from a typed message, though.
