Most Bama fans don't even know if or who they played today including me. With a gun to my head I couldn't give you the first or last name of a single player. I had to think a bit over the "Avery" thing. If that makes me a bad "fan" then so be it. As a student I'd go to see UK or a special player like Pistol Pete who set some sort of record when I was there then put on a show after the game. I went to see Bernie and Ernie at some point after I left school and was in town. I think. Gives some black kids a chance to be at least exposed to the college experience other than that frick the nasty thing. I did watch much of the Villanova vs ? championship game in a bar last year.
