I cant believe the book had Oak Grove vs Meridian, They have only played like 8 times and are supposedly the biggest rivalry in the State???
Thank you! OG and Meridian never even played until OG moved up to 5A in 2001. And even then there was no rivalry. It only became a rivalry in the last 5 years when the winner of that game usually won the division, and they met in the playoffs several times.
But you are right, not having Magee and Mendenhall on there is a joke.

I think that White flight has hurt the Hatty/Laurel brown jug game and a lot of the guys who's dads and grand dads played at Hattiesburg and Laurel are now playing for Oak Grove or West Jones.

Todd Kinchen.
SEC Offensive player of the year.
NFL, somewhere around 8 years.
1st player in NFL history to return a punt AND kickoff back for a touchdown in the same game, Rams versus 49ers.

Played high school golf against Ken Duke (former PGA'er and current Nationwide tour player).
Drank beer with John Daly in Camden, Arkansas when he was a junior at U of A and he was playing in the Ouachita Valley Golf Tournament. Great story to go along with that....but not an internet message board story.

Nice. Alot of basketball tradition at BA it seems. Really nice gym and I am sure it has gotten nicer since I was there in 2002.

Yeah my dad used to coach there, they had some really good teams over the years, and continue to still today.

PCS actually put out BA boys this year in Overall, Larry Eustachy's son played for them and lit up BA.
I was surprised PCS girls didnt make it far, they have been really good recently.
